In my previous post I talked about context which in football is important to consider. Our narrow loss to city in the context of Man Utd’s loss to palace is not so bad. Our qualification in the ECL in context with Sp*rs loss to PAOK speaks for itself. Ferguson’s achievements: a manager who some Utd fans were saying should go last night, in the context of Steve Bruce’s serial failures as a manager are a sign of ludicrous expectation that we need to be mindful of.
Arsenals attendance figures in context of other clubs, with lower ticket pricing, in cup games are far greater; yet go unacknowledged
Our form in context of expenditure in comparison with Chelsea's multi million squad is pretty good
Rather than be blinded by science let's say that, in context, Arsenal are doing ok at the moment.
We're doing ok
